Young parents seeking advice
Pregnancy is full of new experiences. But the real change in life happens when the baby comes home. Especially for first-time parents, there are so many unknowns that suddenly need to be handled on a day-to-day basis. These range from questions about the mother-child relationship and breastfeeding, to more general questions about the baby's health and development, its behaviour, what to do when the baby cries, or has a sudden temperature, etc.
The family paediatrician is always there for the regular follow-up and health checks. But for worried parents, looking after their baby brings questions 24 hours a day. To answer these many questions and provide information and expert advice, Nestlé has set up Baby Services in a number of countries, giving reassurance and advice during pregnancy and when the baby comes home. The service is free, either by dialling a toll-free telephone number, or via Internet, which also provides an interactive dialogue by e-mail.
